Ogier leads the way as WRC heads to Argentina
Argentina hosts the fifth round of the 2018 FIA World Rally Championship this weekend, with Motorsport.tv bringing you highlights from all three days of the Villa Carlos Paz event.

Known for its tight gravel roads and big water splashes, Rally Argentina often provides unpredictable and spectacular action, seeing four different winners in as many years. Five-time WRC champion Sebastien Ogier has never won in the South American country, but is in ominous form having taken three wins already in 2018. For Hyundai driver Thierry Neuville, this may be the best opportunity he has of closing the gap to the Frenchman, having snatched victory from Elfyn Evans in the final stage here last year.

Along with coverage of the 2018 rally, Motorsport.tv will revisit some Classic FIA World Rally Championship events from Argentina, courtesy of Duke Video. Lancia were the ones to beat during the 1987, 1988 and 1991 editions, but teams from Toyota, VW, Ford and Audi would push them all the way in Cordoba.

Phillip Island hosts round four of the Australian Supercars
Jamie Whincup led the Australian Supercars standings heading into the Phillip Island double-header, following six consecutive podium finishes. However, the seven-time champion would have to fend off the likes of DJR Team Penske’s Scott McLaughlin, Erebus Motorsport’s David Reynolds and Triple Eight Race Engineering team-mate Shane van Gisbergen, if he was to hold onto his early championship advantage.

Revisiting Le Mans 1997 & Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup Monza highlights
Next in the 24 Hours of Le Mans: The Great History, Motorsport.tv revisits the 1997 edition of the French endurance classic. Joest Racing returned running the TWR-Porsche it won with in 1996, as it aimed to fend off factory entries from McLaren, Porsche, Nissan and Ferrari in both the GT1 and LMP1 classes. This was also the first Le Mans for Tom Kristensen, who shared the #7 Joest Racing machine with former Formula 1 stars Stefan Johansson and Michele Alboreto.

With 54 cars entered for the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup season-opener at Monza, the three-hour race provided non-stop action, up-and-down the grid. 11 manufacturers were present, with reigning champions GRT Grasser Racing looking to get its 2018 season off to a strong start, but there were more than a few surprises at the legendary Italian venue, including a strong showing for the Emil Frey Jaguar Racing outfit...

NASCAR Xfinity from Richmond & MSN Circuit Rally heads to Cadwell Park
Lastly, Motorsport.tv heads to the USA for the NASCAR Xfinity Series race from Richmond, before making the trip back across the Atlantic for the penultimate round of the Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship from Cadwell Park.

LIVE – Rockingham hosts British GT round three & FIM CEV from Valencia
On Motorsport.tv’s On Demand service this weekend, there’s LIVE coverage of the British GT Championship, as the series heads to Rockingham for round three. Optimum Motorsport’s Flick Haigh made history by becoming the first female British GT winner at Oulton Park, but it’s Jon Minshaw and Phil Keen at Barwell Motorsport that lead the standings, after being awarded full points for a red-flagged race two.

You can also catch the FIM CEV races, LIVE from Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. Five classes head to the Spanish venue, headlined by the Moto3 Junior World Championship, which sees a full grid of young MotoGP hopefuls vying to impress the top-class bosses.
