LIVE – Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup heads to Misano
Round three of the 2018 Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup sees the championship head to Italy, as the season reaches its halfway stage, and Motorpsort.tv brings you LIVE coverage from Misano.
A field of 22 GT3 cars is scheduled to be on track at the Misano World Circuit, as the battles in the various categories hot up. The overall Drivers’ Championship is lead by Belgian Audi Club Team WRT’s Stuart Leonard, who holds at 1.5 point lead over Attempto Racing’s Kelvin van der Linde and Steijn Schothorst. The Silver Cup entry is bolstered by the addition of the Emil Frey Racing Jaguar G3 for this weekend, in the car’s penultimate Blancpain race.

After coming within touching distance in 2016, and suffering from reliability woes in 2017, the Japanese manufacturer returned in 2018 looking to break its duck. Supercars Darwin Triple Crown Highlights & LIVE CIV from Imola
The seventh round of the 2018 Australian Supercars Championship saw teams head to Hidden Valley Raceway for the Darwin Triple Crown. DJR Team Penske’s Scott McLaughlin led the way prior to heading to the Northern Territory, but would the New Zealander maintain his advantage over Shane van Gisbergen and David Reynolds. Just three weeks after his major accident in MotoGP practice at Mugello, Michele Pirro will make his return to the ELF CIV this weekend at Imola. The Ducati rider is undefeated in 2018, and will be looking to return to form quickly following a fast recovery from injury.
TCR Asia Series in Thailand & Road to Le Mans race
Finishing off the weekend, there are highlights from the Thai round of the action-packed TCR Asia Series, while Motorsport.tv looks back at the Michelin Le Mans Cup’s third round, as competitors took to the Circuit de la Sarthe.
