LIVE – MXGP & MX2 head to the Czech Republic
The FIM Motocross World Championship is already entering the final third, with the series heading to the Czech Republic as the chasing field dig deep to try and topple the KTM riders.
Loket has been a mainstay on the calendar since 1995, with the picturesque venue close to the German border a favourite amongst riders and fans alike. After recovering from his collarbone injury, Jeffrey Herlings made an incredible comeback, taking overall victories at both Indonesian MXGPs to retain his championship lead. LIVE & Delayed – European Le Mans Series at the Red Bull Ring
The European Le Mans Series continues this weekend from the Red Bull Ring in Austria, with just two points separating the top three. G-Drive currently lead the way, but can United Autosports put their Ligier in the mix at the location of their last LMP2 victory? In LMP3, class leaders EuroInternational will hope to repeat their 2017 success here to pull away at the top, with the Ferrari and Porsche teams set to fight it out again in LMGTE.
Silk Way Rally opening stage & NASCAR Cup Series from Kentucky
Also this weekend, the Silk Way Rally begins its journey from the unusual starting point at Astrakhan to Moscow, with 2327.16km of special stages standing in between. With none of the car entrants having previously taken a Silk Way victory, it’s anyone’s guess as to this year’s winner.
Across the other side of the globe, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series continued from Kentucky last weekend. Despite dropping points at Daytona, Kyle Busch still led the way in the championship from Kevin Harvick. Martin Truex Jr. has been in good form though, so it was all to play for in the Quaker State 400.
