$40m in Sales with 88% of Lots Sold At RM Sotheby's Petersen Museum Auction, results

Outstanding collector cars, and impassioned bidding. Leading the $40 million sale was a one-of-four Ferrari 290 MM which sold for a final price of $22 million. The sale catapulted the 290 MM onto the list of top 10 most valuable cars ever sold at auction.

Numerous highlights followed, including a 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV, 2015 Porsche 918 'Weissach' Spyder, 2015 McLaren P1, and 1989 Ferrari F40, proving once again the market strength for supercars and hypercars. It was a thrill to team up with The Petersen Automotive Museum and put on what ended up being the most successful collector car auction ever held in Los Angeles.
