Ferrari Challenge UK heads to Croft

The new Ferrari Challenge UK Series 2019 series heads to Croft on the 20 and 21 July 2019.

Fresh from displaying his 488 Challenge car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Trofeo Pirelli leader Jason Baker will be looking to extend his impressive run of winning every race so far. Having produced four different winners from four races, the Coppa Shell class promises to replicate the exciting and unpredictable action seen at both Brands Hatch and Snetterton.

The 488 Challenge is the first turbo-charged model to race in the Ferrari Challenge series, and it is also the most powerful Ferrari Challenge car ever. The car is powered by a 670hp 3.9-litre V8 derived from the series production engine that has won several International Engine of the Year Awards. Thanks to extensive development of the car’s engine, aerodynamics and chassis, the 488 Challenge has achieved new levels of performance and driver involvement.

Cars from the current model range will be on public display across the weekend, and will also be present on track with client activities throughout Saturday and Sunday. Three races from the Pirelli Ferrari formula classic, which is run by the Ferrari Owners’ Club GB, will also take to the track, following on from their exciting racing at Brands Hatch and Snetterton.

Race 1 of the Ferrari Challenge UK will take place at 15:10 on Saturday, with Race 2 at 14:50 on Sunday. Race 1 of the Pirelli Ferrari formula classic takes place at 14:20 on Saturday, with Race 2 & 3 at 12:20 and 15:40 on Sunday.
