New livery revealed this morning ahead of latest Motorbase test outing

The final piece of the 2022 jigsaw  for front-running Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship team Motorbase Performance has revealed a new partnership under the banner Apec Racing with Beavis Morgan.

Confirming the news at Donington Park in Leicestershire during a live reveal of the car's livery, the team launched its latest high-profile commercial agreement which will see drivers Ollie Jackson and Sam Osborne competing as the Apec Racing with Beavis Morgan entry.

Apec is widely established as the leading specialist braking supplier to motor factors across the country, and has delivered no fewer than five additional product launches in the past six months. Now, the brand embarks on a key partnership with Motorbase for the upcoming BTCC season.

Beavis Morgan, of course, has a long-standing association with the team and multiple BTCC race winner Jackson. The company comprises several businesses which offer a range of accounting, tax, business advisory and restructuring services.

The new livery on Jackson and Osborne’s hybrid powered Ford Focus ST touring cars was unveiled earlier this morning at Donington, where the team is testing, showcasing the striking new red, white and black colour scheme.

In terms of Motorbase’s presence in this year’s BTCC Teams Championship battle, Jackson and Osborne will score points for Apec Racing with Beavis Morgan while Ash Sutton and Dan Cammish will score for NAPA Racing UK.

Pete Osborne
Motorbase Performance Team Owner and Team Principal:
“Having a brand as highly regarded as Apec onboard demonstrates the pull factor that BTCC has this season. This is just the start of what we hope will be a fruitful partnership and we can’t wait to see how the car looks when it hits the track.”

Jamie Hall
Commercial Director of Apec:
“Our strategy this year is to solidify our position as market leaders in quality, service and support. Sponsoring Motorbase in the British Touring Car Championship marks a milestone in this journey, increasing brand recognition at consumer level and further lead generation.”

Following today's BTCC testing at Donington, there will be another official test day at Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire on Wednesday, 6th April. The pre-season ‘Media Day’, the last official test ahead of the opening three races of the 2022 BTCC campaign, will take place on Wednesday, 13th April, at Thruxton Circuit in Hampshire. Donington will host the championship curtain-raiser over the weekend 23rd/24th April.
