Former Caterham Superlight front runner Jamie Unwin has been testing with T-Sport, the team behind the 2004 Formula 3 champion Ryan Lewis'success.
Russell Eacott, Managing Director of T-Sport, comments: "Jamie tested for us with a view to him racing in the Formula Three Championship. With his relative lack of single seater experience he showed a high level of driver ability and was a pleasure to work with. I would predict a very long and successful career for him."
Formula Three is widely regarded as the breeding ground for future Formula One champions with both Michael and Ralph Schumacher beginning their illustrious careers in the championship.
Jamie is from Bromley originally and currently lives in Uckfield, East Sussex. He made waves in the Caterham Superlight leagues becoming well known for his natural talent on the racetrack.
He comments: "Racing is always what I have wanted to pursue and now I have the chance I intend to grab it with both hands. I cannot wait to further my driving skills through the excellent tuition from T-Sport and to learn from and test my ability against the stars of the future. I want to thank Russell Eacott and the T-Sport team for giving me this opportunity."
