Dix Mille Tours du Castellet 4,5,6 October 2013

Now a major autumn apttraction, the Dix Mille Tours du Castellet will celebrate its 4th edition from 4 to 6 October 2013.

Since its creation in 2010, the event has continued its development and will present several novelties.

For the first time, the Trophee Mini Classic will delight the public with some spectacular battles. Dix Mille Tours regulars Classic Endurance Racing, Sixties Endurance and Trofeo Nastro Rosso will fight their seasons last round and the impressive Group C Racing cars, which made the greatest days of the World Sportscar Championship in the 80s, will also be present.

Nearly a thousand collector cars are expected and will benefit from track time. The Exhibitor Village set up in the heart of the paddock will be the perfect place for families to share their passion.

During the 2012 edition, event organiser Patrick Peter announced the celebration of the creation of the BPR during the 4th Dix Mille Tours. Indeed twenty years ago, in August 1993, Stephane Ratel and Patrick Peter launched a GT race based on the Venturi Trophy before creating a series in March 1994 with the complicity of Jurgen Barth - the BPR was born!

The BPR Revival will gather the cars which participated in this competition held from August 1993 until the end of 1996 including models of the same type or equivalent. McLaren F1 GTR, Venturi 600 LM, Porsche 911 Turbo S LM, Ferrari F40 LM will again take to the track. As most of the cars which havent been driven regularly since the BPR are no longer in conformity, they will put on a demonstration parade. Dont miss the occasion to admire these legendary models once again. The three founders, Jurgen Barth, Stephane Ratel and Patrick Peter hope to welcome a great many of the cars, racing drivers and team managers that participated in this great adventure.
