65 classic cars on offer at Classic Car Auctions April sale‏

Returning to the world famous Silverstone circuit, an amazing 65 classic cars will be on offer at our April sale next Tuesday, 21st April.

This month’s sale once again presents a fantastic selection of ‘everyman’ classics which we’re certain will appeal to the tastes of any enthusiast. Iconic hot hatches, British sports cars and luxury saloons will sit side by side with classic Americana in the pit garages below the Wing building.

To be in with a chance of purchasing any of these special cars, it is essential that you register to bid at the sale. Viewing of the cars is open from 9am, while the auction will begin at 2pm. Catalogues cost just £5 and admit two people into the sale.

Going under the hammer

1966 Jaguar MK.II 3.8 MO/DOffered here is very genuine and well-maintained 1966 Mk 2 3.8. It is believed to be a matching numbers car. In arguably the best Jaguar paint colour of Opalescent Blue with matching blue leather interior, this car presents very well. It is fitted with the desirable options of over-drive and power-steering, with a very nice period Moto-Lita steering wheel.

Showing a believed genuine 38,037 miles from new, this car's interior is all present and correct with only light patina. The original tool kit is also present.

1990 Lancia Delta HF Integrale 8V

This impressive 1990 Lancia Delta HF Integrale 8V has an odometer reading of 165,000 kms, 11 emissions stamps and ten service stamps in two service books. This is backed up by lots of paperwork and all handbooks. The car is fitted with rare Speedline 16" four stud alloys, rare black leather interior with HF logos on the seats from the factory and a Supersprint exhaust.

1965 Ford Mustang Convertible

Ford's new Mustang looked like nothing ever seen before when it burst onto the scene in April 1964. Featured in Classic American magazine in December 2007, this gorgeous model is in excellent working order, with a mirror like finish on all its panels. What’s more, the V8 engine has a turbine-like smoothness and drives without fault, combining both performance and reliability.

1971 Jensen Interceptor Series II

A striking 1971 Jensen Interceptor in gold with a recently retrimmed black hide interior. Coming with the reliable and more economical 6.3L Chrysler engine, it has good oil pressure and runs at the correct temperature.

It was owned by an enthusiast from 1980 until 2013 and comes with a substantial history file containing invoices for maintenance over the period of his ownership.

1981 MGBGT-LE

This rare car is one of just 580 GT LEs manufactured to celebrate 50 years of production and to mark the end of MGB production at Abingdon. This limited edition model is equipped with overdrive, silver LE decals, LE front spoiler, special limited edition badges, and cast LE alloy wheels.

Supplied with an extensive history file, this is a genuine one owner from new example which has covered 96,370 miles in total.
