JD Classics, one of the world’s leading classic car restoration and racing companies, is pleased to announce its status as a major sponsor of this year’s Goodwood Revival.

JD Classics has competed at the Goodwood Revival in a number of its world-class racing cars over the years, scoring some major wins in the process. As well as sponsoring the event this year, the team will again be competing with a line-up of six cars.

The JD Classics Competition Department will be expertly preparing and racing a Cooper T33, Jaguar D-Type, Lightweight E-Type, Lister Costin and two competition Jaguar XK120s over the course of the weekend from 11-13 September.

The Maldon-based company is also privileged to this year provide the three official course cars for the Goodwood Revival, deployed to the track after each race to check for any debris. A 1962 Coombs Jaguar MK2, 1965 Aston Martin DB5 and 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB Alloy will share course car duties between races.

Off the racetrack, JD Classics will also be showcasing a 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 ‘Daytona’ as part of the ‘Earl’s Court Motor Show’ feature of the Goodwood Revival.

JD Classics Managing Director, Derek Hood, said: “Goodwood Revival is a standout event of the classic motor racing calendar, and we couldn’t think of a better partnership for us. It’s an event we always enjoy competing in, and we’re looking forward to seeing our cars both on and off the track.”
