Omologato Watches confirm the second ChronosAndCars event at Shelsley Walsh

Sunday 26 March 2017.

The first ever #ChronosAndCars event at Porsche Retail Reading in November saw over 300 people attend for a successful morning meeting of cars, cameras and watch enthusiasts. Since the announcement of a second of these fast growing events organised by Omologato, over 40% of available tickets have been sold. Attendees will have the chance to get up close with 1970 Le Mans winner Richard Attwood, who has been confirmed for the event at Shelsley Walsh in March. Further partners supporting the second #ChronosAndCars meet will be announced soon.

The historic international hill climb venue has limited access which requires avid timepiece car and camera fans to have a ticket to the event which is limited to 150 cars, but many more spectators. All the money raised will go towards the upkeep of this legendary British motorsport venue. Omologato take great pride in looking after their customers, therefore each ticket will entitle attendees to a proper cup of coffee.

Meanwhile, Omologato have confirmed the final order festive delivery dates for motorsport inspired timepieces for that motorsport enthusiast in your life. Hunters in the UK looking for an Omologato watch can shop until the 21st of December whilst enthusiasts from the rest of the world have until the 19th of December to guarantee delivery by Christmas. As professional watchmakers, Omologato have over 25 years of experience in the industry and have designed and manufactured a number of limited edition timepieces.

Omologato is conceived out of a passion for motorsport and the love for the iconic historic liveries that have adorned the race tracks of the world. No racetrack is more synonymous with motor racing than the Indianapolis circuit in the USA. The raceway inspired The Indianapolis chronograph, which has been carefully designed to reflect the racing heritage with fascia details in Indianapolis Red whilst incorporating the famous Oval and Yard of Bricks engraved on the back.

This along with the fan-favourite Can-Am watch, which pays homage to the unrestricted racing series in Canada and America through a truly unique utilisation of the symbolic colouring used on the orange McLaren M8A Can-Am racer, is sure to be a highly sought-after timepiece this Christmas.

Omologato have recently announced the launch date of The Salzburg, a new watch dedicated to the heritage behind the prestigious Porsche Salzburg 917 which famously won the 1970 Le Mans 24 hours endurance race for the first time. The timepiece will be available for adoring fans in January 2017. Pre-orders today will be eligible to receive a hand autographed booklet with their unique watch number written by Omologato Brand Ambassador Richard Attwood, himself.

Omologato founder Shami Kalra said: “This year has been a massive success for Omologato and we want to ensure that fans and motorsport enthusiasts get their orders of these limited edition timepieces in on time in order to welcome you to #TeamOmologato

We believe that every watch should tell a story and owning an Omologato timepiece allows you to feel a part of a very unique community. Omologato are immensely proud to engage and host events with a passionate group of motoring and motorsport fans, where we can all come together and discuss the thing we love most.”
