The Italian Job annual touring event is calling all Mini owners to step forward, engage first gear and join in the adventure that will be the Italian Job 2017.
WHEN Meeting in Imola on Friday October 27th and returning to the UK on Saturday November 4th, Italian Job participants will follow a cunningly devised route book (the Rally) through the beautiful region of Emilia Romagna. Teams will drive well off the beaten track and discover enchanting villages, towns and cities where a warm welcome from the locals awaits. Highlights of the route will take in some of the culinary delights that has made Emilia Romagna a global gastronomic hotspot. As well as sampling local, typical and artisan food, teams will also enjoy a healthy dose of petrol-head fun as they put their minis through their paces on Imola’s famous F1 circuit; wander at leisure through Ferrari’s Maranello Museum and experience a guided tour of the Ferrari factory. A special treat in 2017 is the opportunity to admire the latest models of the unique Pagani.
A pit stop in the heartland of Prosecco forms part of the homebound journey as well as a non-driving afternoon in the most captivating city in the world, Venice. The last stop is at the NH hotel in Turin for some gymkhana driving fun on Lingotto’s roof test track followed by a sightseeing tour of the city which will be escorted by Turin traffic police. The event closes at the Ashford International Hotel in Kent Saturday November 4th.

Our aim is to raise as much money as we can and in so doing put more Sunshine Coaches on the roads of Britain. The wheels of the mighty Minis turn to help turn the wheels of Variety’s Sunshine Coaches and improve the lives of sick, disabled or disadvantaged children.
