1971 Aston Martin DB6 MKII Vantage consigned to Silverstone's May Sale

An extremely rare, original factory built Vantage DB6 MKII belonging to two-time BTCC champion, commentator and TV personality, John Cleland.

Estimate (£): 325,000 - 375,000

The first car to be announced for this year's May Sale is this stunning, original right-hand drive, matching engine and chassis numbers, factory built Vantage DB6 MKII manual, one of only 34 examples made.

Exceptionally well maintained and improved by Aston Martin specialists throughout its life, it is possibly the best factory Mark II Vantage a buyer can find. The bodywork is in truly excellent condition with some of the best and most consistent shut lines we have ever seen on a hand-built Aston.

This beautiful example would make an impressive addition to any international collection, and would surely be welcome at the most prestigious classic car events throughout the world.
