Malvern, April 18th 2017.

The Morgan Motor Company announce one of the top public speakers in the world, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, will be the guest speaker at the Run For The Hills 2017 Gala Dinner taking place on Saturday 26th August, as part of a weekend long celebration of Morgan.

The Gala Dinner itself offers a plethora of entertainment, as well as a full four-course menu celebrating local produce from the surrounding counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.

A black tie event, the evening is a special celebration of “Morgan in Malvern” for up to 700 guests. Starting at 6.30pm, to the music of a string quartet from the English Symphony Orchestra, guests will be offered a pre-dinner drink of locally made sparkling wine or apple juice.

A four course meal of local provenance is then served with fabulous food, and two bottles of complimentary wine per table, all sourced from across the three counties of Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.

The Friday Beer Company will be serving a range of beers all made in Malvern, just a stone’s throw from the factory. A general pay bar will also be on hand serving local wine, ciders and spirits and complimentary Holywell water, again from Malvern will be available on all tables.

Entertainment throughout the evening will include a welcome from Morgan's Managing Director, Steve Morris, an after dinner speech from Sir Ranulph Fiennes and a very special charity auction in aid of the British Heart Foundation. All guests will receive a complimentary souvenir menu to take home along with a token gift.

Live music from The Stirling Austin Swing & Soul Band and an opportunity for dancing rounds off the evening.

Despite a host of fabulous entertainment, the star of the evening is undoubtedly the talk given by Sir Ranulph Fiennes, described by the Guinness Book of World Records as the ‘World’s greatest living explorer’.

Sir Ranulph Fiennes went further and longer in solo expeditions than anyone else before and his after dinner speech will focus on the drive and determination needed to survive in some of the most hostile environments. Guests are promised a night not to forget.

Steve Morris, Managing Director of Morgan Motor Company, said: “Run For The Hills is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate everything that people love about Morgan. Whether you have a Morgan in your driveway or just a poster on your wall.”

“To celebrate Malvern and the local area through delicious food and drink is something not to be missed, to round the evening off with a speech from Sir Ranulph Fiennes is nothing short of spectacular. This promises to be a night to remember and we can’t wait to welcome guests to the biggest and best Morgan event ever seen .”

A range of ticket and accommodation packages are available including single day tickets, gala dinner tickets, weekend tickets and concert tickets.
