The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has joined Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) as an Official Partner of the third-edition of the HSR Classic 24 Hour at Daytona presented by IMSA at Daytona International Speedway, November 8 - 12, 2017.

The new relationship pairs the expertise of the prestigious Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in support of one of the newest and fastest growing historic and vintage racing events on the international motorsports calendar.

Now in its third decade, The Amelia is widely recognized as one of the top automotive events in the world.

Introduced in 2014, the HSR Classic 24 Hour at Daytona presented by IMSA quickly became a must-attend and must-participate historic and vintage endurance race for race fans and competitors from around the globe. All indications are that the 2017 running of the race is shaping up to be the biggest Classic 24 Hour at Daytona to date.

"Very few experiences rival the thrill of driving on the banked turns of Daytona International Speedway," said Bill Warner, The Amelia's Founder and Chairman. "The HSR Classic 24 Hour at Daytona brings Florida's racing history to life. The location, cars and people involved complement the mission of The Amelia. We look forward to working together with HSR to both celebrate and promote the legacy of Daytona's iconic endurance race."

In the new partnership, The Amelia's promotional and marketing team will provide its expertise to HSR in support of the Classic 24 Hour at Daytona. The Amelia Island team will assist HSR in the sales and promotion of Classic 24 Hour assets such as VIP ticket packages, all levels of event sponsorship, vendor locations and more.

Saturday of the Classic 24 Hour at Daytona will feature a special edition of the popular The Amelia's Cars & Coffee event in the infield at Daytona International Speedway. Introduced as a Saturday feature at Amelia Island in 2013, the Classic 24 Hour at Daytona edition, officially titled Cars & Coffee at the Classic 24 will follow the same successful format of Cars & Coffee at the Concours showcasing a unique group of vehicles that celebrate the diverse spirit of the automotive enthusiast.

"The Amelia is without peer when it comes to automotive special event marketing, promotion and sales and we are grateful for the new partnership that will elevate the Classic 24 Hour at Daytona presented by IMSA to a new level," said David Hinton, HSR President. "The team behind The Amelia has built the event into one of the most important automotive and motorsports events in the world, and we look forward to working with them in building the Classic 24 Hour to the same prestigious international status."

Classic 24 Hour at Daytona ticket packages include $250 Basic VIP and $500 Premium VIP options, both of which include a four-day access pass, infield VIP parking, garage and tower tours, featured driver-panel reserved seating, early access to the pre-grid fan walk, VIP race-start viewing from the deck of the DIS 500 Club and an official event poster and program.
