Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray, Porsche 928 S4 and Fiat 124 Spider at CCA Auction

A FINE SELECTION OF COUPES CONSIGNED TO THE CCA AUGUST AUCTION

and a 1962 E-type Series 1 in need of some attention

The Warwickshire Event Centre will host the next CCA auction for Everyman Classics on the 3rd August and amongst the lots consigned are a number of sporty and classic Coupes.
With offerings from Porsche, Chevrolet, Fiat and Jaguar, CCA’s catalogue continues to offer a wide choice and type of cars to suit all budgets.

If you like a bit of American muscle, a fabulous 2015 Chevrolet Corvette C7 251 Stingray could be an option. This was the first model since 1968 to bear the famous Stingray name. This car is offered in a superb specification with an additional body kit including splitter and side skirts, Magnaflow Exhaust and lowered suspension which makes this car look and sound so great. Presented in Metallic Grey, with just 15,000 miles and offered with a sensible estimate of £35,000 to £40,000 will generate lots of interest.

At the opposite end of the scale, a true British classic and one in need of some tlc, is a 1962 Jaguar E-type Series
1. CCA always do well selling E-types and this is a fascinating car estimated at £25,000 to £30,000. It was supplied new to Jaguar Cars in New York in 1963 where it remained with them for all of its life, until now, when it returned to the UK. It is a left-hand drive car with matching numbers, a Heritage and full NOVA Certificate. This E-type would make a great project and return the car to its former classic glory.

CCA has become the preferred auction house to sell your Porsche and they always achieve excellent prices. For this auction one of the star cars has to be this superb 1988 Porsche 928 S4, designed as a luxury tourer and originally destined to replace the 911. This particular car has had just two registered owners from new and features an electric sunroof, as well as a fully documented service history across two books and the original order form. With a new cambelt and water pump recently fitted this is a really lovely S4 estimated at £28,000 to £32,000.

Richard Greenhalgh Senior Consigner for Classic Car Auctions commented: “This a special car which is ticking quite a few boxes and makes it an exciting modern classic. You don’t see that many of them with relatively low miles and low ownership. Being an original UK right hand drive car makes this 928 an exciting proposition.”

Just in time for the summer, you could have this pretty little Pininfarina designed 1977 Fiat 124 Spider which has been with the current owner for over 10 years. Originally imported and converted by specialist DTR European Sports Cars from California in 1994, this sports car has been lowered to European ride height and had the bumpers and side indicators removed. Attractively presented in Midnight Blue with Fiat Speedline alloys this car has been very sensibly guided at £8,000 to £10,000 and will include a fresh MOT prior to the auction.

Gary Dunne, Classic Car Auctions auction manager commented: “This is our second auction of the year at the Warwickshire Event Centre, a very popular venue for our clients, who consign their cars knowing they get a tremendous service and access to so many potential buyers due to its central location.”

“Our summer sales have always been well attended and these featured cars are just some of the wonderful cars we have consigned so far, with loads more already committed.”
