V8 Utes Inducts New Hard Charger

SS Inductions, the manufacturer of the extremely popular Growler® Cold Air Inductions for late model Fords and Holdens, has entered into a three-year agreement with Australian V8 Ute Racing Pty Ltd to be their official “Induction System” supplier for the V8 Ute series.

Prior to finalizing the agreement, V8 Utes Australia extensively track tested the Growler® Cold Air Induction on both the Ford BF and Holden VE. The Utes performed extremely well during the track test and dyno runs with the SS Induction “growl” adding a new element to the series.

SS Inductions’ Managing Director, Kevin Hoverd, commented “I am extremely excited about the partnership with V8 Utes Australia and how it will give the Growler® brand an increased presence in the market.  It will also provide potential customers the opportunity to see how the SS Inductions’ Cold Air Intakes perform under extreme racing conditions.”

The first outing for the V8 Utes using the Growler® Cold Air system will be as a support feature to the V8 Supercars in Perth this weekend from May 9 to 11.

SS Inductions are not new to V8 Ute Racing and have been supporting Craig ‘The Growler’ Dontas for the past three years.  Craig is currently running equal 2nd in the championship.  The induction system is developed and manufactured in Australia and distributed from the SS Induction head office at Ormeau on the Gold Coast.

A new element to the series will also be the SS Inductions Hard Charger Award with $500 cash going to the driver who passes the most Utes in any one race over the weekend. This will be presented during the trophy awards on the podium at the end of each round.
