In its first outing, Trident Racing and Kasper Andersen took a podium finish at the end of a masterful race.

"The Danish driver was, together with Chris Van Der Drift, one of the fastest drivers on-track. Harald drove good too, climbing up from the 16th spot on the grid to 8th place, that will mean pole position in tomorrow`s race. Alejandro was heavily penalized by the bagarre he found in front of him, but had a good race and nearly clinched the top-10. I want to thank all the team`s staff and, of course, the drivers. With such a great start we can really look forward to the next races”.Kasper Andersen"The 2nd-place finish scored today confirmed what I was thinking about the potential of both the team and I. In the first race of the season I avoided making mistakes and kept the pace of Chris Van Der Drift despite his great speed. I even tried to force the hand, but since it would have been dangerous, and today`s goal was to end up on the podium, I preferred to stay cool. I`m really focused on tomorrow`s race. Points will be as important as the overall final result".Harald Schlegelmilch"After the bad break of fortune had in qualifying, I managed to end up in 8th place and score the final result I hoped for, so I`ll be able to start from the pole tomorrow. Today`s race wasn`t an easy one, but it was fun too since I had the chance to get some positions back and run on fast laptimes. When I caught up with the cars I had in front, I decided not to take risks and think to Race 2".Alejandro Núñez "Today`s race has had two faces for me. On one hand, I`m not really satisfied with the final result, conditioned by the slow cars I had to pass at the beginning. On the other hand, I`m glad of the pace I was able to keep while running alone and I`m confident in my possibilities for tomorrow".
