On Sunday John Collins of Talacrest was involved in advising his client - Chris Evans on the purchase of the ex-James Coburn Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder at the RM Auctions Ferrari sale.
The Ferrari 250 SWB California Spyder was bought on behalf of client for £5,089,280 - a world record price - reflecting the provenance and desirability of the model.

Clearly some people are deciding that now property etc is no longer a cast iron investment - that blue chip collector Ferraris might be a fun and relatively secure place to put some money into.
