Tom Chilton gave up his Honda power...

 for his latest challenge……an 85 mile hike along the Jurassic coast……..

It was two legged power that got Tom through the hike from Lyme Regis to Poole in Dorset, covering the 85 miles in two and a half days. The Jurassic coastal path, which takes in stunning scenery along its length, provided a real challenge. Sleeping bag under the stars and on one night in cave on a beach, adding to the enjoyment!

Tom completed the hike with friend Lee Oldroyd as a personal challenge to himself, as he explained;

“I wanted to do something a little different from my normal training. I’m always cycling or running and fancied doing something with more of a challenging element to it. The hike seemed like a good idea and there is more of a sense of achievement after hiking for 85 miles than doing circuit training or a familiar run.”

Tom’s back in more familiar surroundings this weekend as the BTCC makes its annual trip to North Yorkshire’s Croft circuit for the next three races in the Championship.
