The Indy Lights championship leaves the ovals behind with a trip to Watkins Glen for round 7 of the 2008 season. The IndyCar feeder series is led by Britain’s own Dillon Battistini, and the road course specialist should be among the favourites to collect a fourth win of the season in New York. The series’ only trip outside Europe in 2008 will provide the usual test of the riders’ bike handling, speed and stamina. This time it’s the turn of the USA and the all-action American Le Mans Series. Mid-Ohio marks the resumption of the 2008 season following the break for Le Mans, but will Audi repeat their victory at La Sarthe or will the P2 Porsche Spyders dominate once more? American Le Mans Series, Round 6, Mid-OhioSunday 20 July, 18:00 – DELAYED-AS-LIVE THUNDERSPORTS ARE GO!Thundersport GB has firmly established itself as a must-see motorbike racing festival in 2008 and Motors TV has followed this burgeoning race series with two hour highlights from each round. 12 classes, ranging from GP1 to Moto 450 and including Streetfighter and Junior Powerbikes, means there’s something for everyone and non-stop action. The fifth meeting of the year comes from the UK’s fastest race track: Snetterton.

Thundersport GB, Round 5, SnettertonMonday 21 July, 19:00WORLD SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIPA winless weekend for Ducati’s Troy Bayliss in the last round at Misano has raised hopes that the rapid Aussie can be caught in the fight for the World Superbike Championship. Bayliss still enjoys a healthy lead but, as the series heads to Brno in the Czech Republic, Germany’s Max Neukirchner, a race-winner last time out, is closing the gap.
