 9 /10 August & 16 /17 August

Knockhill Racing Circuit, Scotland’s National Motorsport Centre is offering  readers the chance to win one of five pairs of tickets to see Scotland’s most exhilarating and prestigious motorsport weekends of 2008.  Winners can choose tickets for either of the two thrill-packed race weekends, with free car-parking too!

The elite of British motorcycle and saloon touring car racing will thrill crowds of more than 30,000 at Knockhill during back-to-back race weekends in August.  Rounds 18 & 19 of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship take place at the famous circuit on 9th and 10th August.  And just one week later (16th and 17th August), the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship circus arrives in Fife for round 8 of the high-octane series.

Not only will each of the five lucky winners receive a pair of tickets for the main race day on the Sunday, but they will also have full entry to the gripping and often dramatic Saturday qualifying session for the race weekend of their choice.

On-track at the SUPERBIKES manufacturers including Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Ducati and Honda will vie for all important Bennetts British Superbike championship points.  Watch their riders battle it out over the 165mph straights, dips and twists of the 1.3 mile British Championship Circuit, on bikes capable of over 200mph.

Of the 15,000 fans expected at Superbikes over 7,000 fans are set to arrive at the circuit on their own machines making the Superbike weekend the biggest gathering of bikes in Scotland.

Three times British Superbike champion Niall Mackenzie will watch his son race in the support rounds at the Superbikes while Niall and Jamie Whitham will be battling it out one week later in a Legend Race Car during the Touring Car weekend.

At the TOURING CARS, Scotland’s very own Touring Car star – Fifer, Gordon “Flash” Shedden – will be looking to dominate the weekend in his Honda, on home-turf, at the circuit he loves and knows so well.  Supporting races include the Seat Cupra Championship, Porsche Carrera Cup GB and Ginetta Junior Championship.  World champion Formula One star Damon Hill’s son Josh will be on-track competing in the Ginetta Junior Championship.

An incredible preview event for the two race weekends takes place in Glasgow’s George Square from 5.30pm on Wednesday 6 August.  The square will be closed to all traffic and crowds of more than 25,000 will be treated to an evening of howling racing engines with live action from the UK’s greatest saloon car and superbike stars.

To enjoy all the action at Knockhill on 9th/10th and 16th/17th August for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship or HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship just answer this simple question:
