 BRITISH F3 Over recent years, the British F3 International Series has enhanced its reputation as one of the premier Formula One-feeder categories by adding European rounds to its impressive calendar. The visit to Spa-Francorchamps for rounds 15 and 16 gives the drivers a chance to sample another F1 circuit and with the championship so delicately poised, a full-blooded title battle should ensue. Peugeot, who’ve dominated so far, will be looking for revenge over Audi in LMP1, with the Porsche Spyders looking to control LMP2 from a clutch of plucky rivals. In GT1 the battle will between Aston Martin and Corvette, while Porsche and Ferrari battle for GT2 honours. British drivers Jay Howard and Alex Lloyd have won the last two championships and compatriot Dillon Battistini wants to follow the trend, but a couple of poor rounds have dropped him down the rankings.
