READING have confirmed that they will be taking a season out of racing as Smallmead Stadium closes in October.Plans are advanced for a new stadium, but it will not be ready for the 2009 camp! aign.Owner Mark Legg said: "Construction work isn't due to start until the middle of next year, and the costs of putting in a temporary track can't be justified. We'll move in for 2010."
