The Fisichella Motor Sport GP2 and Formula BMW Europe teams headed to Belgium this weekend for the penultimate event of each championship. 

The races took place at the legendary Spa Francorchamps circuit, with Roldan Rodriguez and Marko Asmer in action in the GP2 Series and FMSI regulars Pedro Bianchini, Mihai Marinescu and Ollie Millroy competing in Formula BMW.

The GP2 drivers took to the track on Friday morning for practice before qualifying in the afternoon. After the 30-minute session, Asmer had secured himself a seventh row starting position with the 14th fastest time, with Rodriguez three positions further back in 17th.  Asmer crossed the line in 15th position, with Rodriguez in 20th.  Disappointingly, neither driver finished Sunday's sprint race.

In the Formula BMW Europe championship, Pedro, Mihai and Ollie qualified for Saturday's race in 7th, 16th and 20th positions respectively. Pedro improved two places to take the chequered flag in fifth, Mihai worked his way up to 11th and Ollie crossed the line in 19th. Pedro began Sunday's race in tenth, with Ollie on the eighth row in 16th and Mihai one position behind in 17th.Mihai improved four positions to take 14th, with Pedro passing the line in 19th. Ollie retired from Sunday's race.

The final two races of each championship will take place next weekend at the Monza circuit near Milan in Italy.
