KHAN WINS IN THE BARCELONA POURING RAIN

Mixed feelings for TP Formula in Barcelona, penultimate round of the Euroseries 3000.

There is great satisfaction for the pole gained with a gap of 0"782 and for the clear victory in race 1, but there is great disappointment for the withdrawal in the second race where Khan was bumped into the back by Crestani, then penalized with a drive through.

A penalty that sees a vanished opportunity to catch up with Prost at the top of the rankings. An accident that has ruined another superlative performance of the Anglo- Pakistani who, starting from  eighth due to the reversed grid, was already fourth and ready to attack Prost - challenging him on the track for the championship leadership.

Despite this unlucky debacle , Adam Khan in Barcelona was  the driver to score more points, the only one to have obtained three victories during the season, leading the standings from free practice and showing his talent even in the tricky conditions caused by the heavy rain and the poor visibility that have characterized the entire Spanish weekend.

Now with 19 points still to be assigned in the final round, the fight for the title is still open even if it will not be easy to win a championship, given that Khan  joined the series at the fourth race.
