Tempest Rally heads to Hampshire

Aldershot will once again play host to some of the country’s leading drivers as the Suzuki Tempest Rally gets underway at Rushmoor Arena on Saturday November 8.

This year three times winner Will Nicholls and Rizla Suzuki MotoGP racer Loris Capirossi will be among the drivers to watch with all set to wow fans watching at Rushmoor Arena and the nearby forests of Yateley and Warren Heath.

Around 80 crews are set to take part in the event which is divided into two separate rallies – one for the two wheel drive cars including those contesting the Suzuki Swift Sport Cup and the second for the more powerful two wheel drive cars.

Spectators can see the action at Rushmoor Arena in Aldershot on Saturday November 8 as well as the nearby forests of Warren Heath and Yateley.

A free event guide with stage maps will be available at Rushmoor Arena and the forest car parks on the day.

Entry to Rushmoor Arena is just £10 for adults, children go free, with parking free. In addition to live rally action throughout much of the day Rushmoor Arena hosts the rally service area and there will be catering, Suzuki display and the chance to ride in a real rally car courtesy of Pirelli Pro Rally – Team P Zero team.

For those wanting to watch in the forest, one car park ticket, £10, covers all the forests car parks allowing you to see the cars in different locations during the day.

Scutineering takes place at Pegasus Village in Aldershot on Friday November 7.

Central servicing will once again be based at Pegasus Village which will also feature a rally show and live action on the Rushmoor Arena stage.
