Penrite the official lubricant supplier to the Yokohama V8 Ute Racing Series will be holding a V8 Ute Family Fun Day in conjunction with the opening of the Autobarn Tweed Heads store this Saturday, 8th November.

The event will be held at Autobarn Tweed Heads, which is located in the Harvey Norman Centre, and will kick off at 9am EST.

The day will feature local V8 Ute Drivers, Ryal Harris, Greg Willis, Peter Burnitt, Brad Patton and Robert Jarvis as well at February V8 Utes and Beauts Calendar girl Samantha Crowe.

Store owner, Geoff Armbruster is pleased to be holding such an exciting event.

“We are excited to be opening our greatly expanded Autobarn at the Harvey Norman Centre and to also celebrate it with the Penrite V8 Ute Day.

“We are sure it will be a great day and would like to invite all of our old and new customers to check out the improved store,” said Geoff.

Ute clubs from all over Northern NSW and Southern QLD are expected to be in attendance and vying for one of the following prizes; Best Chicks Ute, Best Engine Bay, Best Feral Ute, Best People’s Choice.

There will also be a free sausage sizzle, face painting for the kids, free in-store prizes and giveaways including a ride in a V8 Ute and a 20% off store wide sale.

Penrite representative Dori Overton expects big crowds.

“We held another Family Fun Day earlier in the year in Brisbane, which saw large crowds and was all in all a very successful day.

“We are expecting people to travel from all over South Queensland and Northern NSW to take part in the day and it should be a anticipate a great turn out,” said Overton.
