RYE House have named six of their seven team members for 2009 - with 17-year-old Joe Haines joining after spending last season at Workington.Swedish youngster Linus Sundstrom is another Rockets capture, along with returnees Chris Neath, Tommy Allen, Robert Mear and Luke Bowen.The final spot could go to promoter Len Silver's 41-year-old son Andrew if he can prove his ability after 16 years out of competitive racing.

BIRMINGHAM will announce their first new signing for next season at a Supporters Club meeting next Monday.Promoter Graham Drury has confirmed that the deal is in place ! - and there has been much speculation as to who the Brummies have secured.Drury said: "I always enjoy attending the supporters' meetings, and it's nice to offer the fans first news of the signing. He's a rider with undoubted ability and potential."
