RICKY Ashworth has described his appointment as Sheffield's new skipper as'a dream move'. Ashworth succeeds Andre Compton who announced his retirement at the end of last season. He said:

"It really is a dream move for me, everything is taking shape for me to have an exciting season and I'm really looking forward to it. It's a massive honour for me to be captain of such a top club."

TALENTED British youngster Adam Roynon is keen to double-up next season. Roynon has started talks with parent club Coventry about a move into the Elite League - and he admits he would like to stay racing at Premier League level.He said:

"I've only just started talking to Coventry and I also feel Birmingham are still in the equation after I raced for them last season before my injury."
