Crans Montana hosts Pescarolo ..

drivers’ winter training camp for second successive year

Primat was once again joined in the Swiss Alpine resort by 2008 co-driver Christophe Tinseau – with whom he finished best petrol LMP1 car at Le Mans (7th overall) and Pescarolo Sport team mates Romain Dumas (LMP2 ALMS champion) and Emmanuel Collard (12 Hours of Sebring overall winner).

Activities included skiing, seal skin walks and gym sessions and also served as an end-of-year Le Mans Series bonding session.

Tinseau said: “Crans Montana made a lasting impression on us all last year so I didn’t need to think twice about returning with the boys again.”

Collard added: “Not only do they provide superb food and accommodation but also organise all the equipment needed for the various activities making this the perfect setting to come and train in.”

Dumas commented: “I had never been to Crans Montana until last year and now I love to come back each year. A big thank you to Jean-Yves Rey (Mont Blanc Marathon winner) and his team for looking after us during the week.”

Primat concluded: “Just like last year, we all thoroughly enjoyed the few days that we had here. Motor racing is an ultra-competitive sport so it’s always good to meet up with the other drivers away from work. We did plenty of different sports and it was nice to have an enjoyable time while topping up our fitness.”
