Trident GP2 Asia Series line-up

Trident Racing to field Adrian Vallés and Frankie Provenzano in Bahrain.

The 2009 program of Trident Racing will get underway next weekend at Al Sakhir, Bahrain.

The team, owned by Maurizio Salvadori, will line-up for the third round of the 2008-2009 GP2 Asia Series. After more than two months since the last outing at Dubai, Trident Racing will bring on-track a brand-new driving pair, formed by Spaniard Adrian Vallés and by Italian youngster Frankie Provenzano.

Vallés, 22, will be finally back on a GP2 Series car after his 2008 Main Series season, while same-aged Provenzano will make his series debut after the third place scored in the Italian F.Master Cup in 2008. The team`s weekend in Barhain will start on Thursday morning, with the usual free practice session. In the afternoon, qualifications will then lock the starting grid for Race 1, starting Friday on a 33-lap distance. The event will be closed on Saturday by a 23-lap long Race 2. The weekend`s activity will be covered by satellite channel Eurosport.
