ANNOUNCE FIRST DRIVER

JD Motorsport, winners of the 2008 Formula Master team title, have confirmed Bulgarian driver Vladimir Arabadzhiev as one of three drivers for their 2009 campaign.

Having raced with the team in 2008, winning a race at Estoril in Portugal, Arabadzhiev will return to JD Motorsport for a second season. The 24-year-old scored a further two podiums last year and looks forward to improving his winning score in 2009.

"I'm very happy with the team; 2008 was my first year with them and with Formula Master and I'm glad to be coming back," said Arabadzhiev. "This year, I hope for better results; I have a good training plan in place to make sure we have a strong campaign and then we'll see from then onwards."

Italian team JD Motorsport claimed the 2008 team crown last year after scoring 156 points along with eight wins between its three drivers.

"After last year, Vladimir did a good season with us; I know that he likes the car and the category," said JD Motorsport Team Principal Roberto Cavallari. "We have a good working relationship with him and we look forward to continuing this in the 2009 season. He fits in very well with the team and I hope we can start in a good direction from the very first race."

Arabadzhiev drove for the team throughout the Series' winter testing and will return to the Formula Master single-seater for the first 2009 official testing session in Valencia, Spain, on 1-2 March.
