RBS latest to pull F1 sponsorship plug

The Royal Bank of Scotland has announced the end of their sponsorship of the Williams Formula 1 team after revealing the biggest corporate lost in the UK's financial history.

F1 sponsorship will cease at the end of the 2010 season and sponsorship deals in other sports arenas are also being reviewed.,  Andrew McLaughlin (Group Director of Communications) said:

"We recognise that we are now operating in a very different economic environment and have been reviewing all of our activities since October."
