COVENTRY have confirmed Josh Auty as their No 8 squad member for the new season.Auty, 18, will ride for Sheffield on loan from the Bees but will be available to deputise when needed.Coventry boss Colin Pratt said: "We saw his potential and signed him as an asset and one for the future, and he'll be available to stand in at reserve for us if we need cover."

STOKE boss Dave Tattum has appointed former journalist Howard Jones to help the club's commercial activities.Jones will be raising awareness of the sport throughout the Potteries and working on sponsorship for the Loomer Road side.Said Tattum: "Howard and l have known each other ever since l first got involved at Loomer Road in 1991, and l felt the time was right for him to come on board."
