Racecar customer edges closer to the podium in US Pro F2000 series - we have just done some redevelopment work on Robert's site - PR below:
"Top competitor among the Ralph Firman Race car drivers"
Heading to Road Atlanta after a solid start to the Pro F2000 Series, Venezuelan driver Robert La Rocca and his Auto Errante-HP Tech Motorsport would strive to score some more consistent finishes and gain valuable points in the overall series championship. When all was completed on the 2.54 mile, twelve-corner circuit, the Ralph Firman Racing driver would take a fourth and sixth place results.
"I am satisfied with my results as we showed very well this past weekend," explained La Rocca when the event was complete. "Of course everyone would like to win, but we managed another pair of top six finishes and were in the top five on the time charts all weekend long."
After qualifying fifth for the first event of the weekend, La Rocca managed to gain one position in the main event to finish fourth. In the second of two events, La Rocca drove his Ralph Firman Race car to a sixth place finish after qualifying just outside the top five. La Rocca continued,
"After completing the weekend, the final results don't show our true speed and potential. There were many more Ralph Firman Racing cars here this weekend with high quality teams and we managed to perform the best out of all of them. By the end of the weekend, we were consistently the fastest Ralph Firman car on track by a substantial margin and I was the top Venezuelan driver in the series."
Looking to salvage as many points as possible, Robert La Rocca and his team are working on the research and development of the new Pro F2000 Ralph Firman Race car.
"The car has great potential and we will continue to do what is ever necessary to run at the front of the field. The car is already faster than anticipated and I strongly feel that our first win is just around the corner." Robert La Rocca will enjoy four weeks off before heading to Watkins Glen International Raceway for the fifth and sixth rounds of the F2000 Series.
