Ticktum dominated Saturday’s final – run on slick tyres despite intermittent rain showers – to take the chequered flag by nearly five seconds, grabbing the championship lead in the process.

Sunday’s final was more of a classic Cadet contest, with the top five karts running nose-to-tail in the sun. Jamie Caroline fought his way to the front with less than half a dozen laps to go, and maintained his position to the finish despite a concerted final-lap challenge from Ryan Anderton.
