The Penultimate event of the year

Round nine of the rideoffroaduk Doodson Motorsport backed Championship heads for Pinxton in Nottinghamshire on 11th September, this weekend.

"Bunts Blast" Hare & Hounds XC was a huge success last year and the ride team aim to go one step further for our 2011 visit to the venue.

The course will consist of good easy to ride open going, the track will be designed as usual by Wayne Braybrook. The addition of more open crop fields and new woodland loops will add a new dimension to this year's blast. Dumbles woodland and old railway embankments will make up the remainder of the lap keeping the technical side of things in check.

The weekend starts on Saturday at 1pm with a Wayne Braybrook structured training session for 10 riders. Riders must pre book places as these sessions have proved very popular so far this season.

Sunday early morning sees the Youth Class riders running in a 1 hour event at 8.30am. Sunday morning 10am will be the turn of the Sportsman, beginner, Over50 and Ladies on track for two hours. Sunday afternoon will see the Expert Over40 and Clubman Championship battles reaching the critical point, with only a handful of points separating the top spots in each class the rivalry will be great to see amongst fellow competitors. The event is located less than 2 miles from the M1 junction 28 so Access is great for northern and midlands based competitors.
