New chance for Facu Regalia at Vallelunga

Team Ghinzani´s Argentinean driver races this weekends meeting of 2011 season in Italian Formula 3 championship, which is held at Vallelunga.

Facu Regalia competes this coming weekend, September 17th-18th, at Vallelunga, Roman track which held sixth meeting of 2011 season for Italian Formula 3 championship. Vallelunga, 4,085 kilometers long, Vallelunga is a classic venue in Italian motorsport and it is near Rome.

Just before his trip to Italy, Regalia explained: “Vallelunga is a track which I like it. We had a good speed there during pre-season testings and again we were in good shape during collective testing hosted in September 6th. We have six races and three meetings to go, and sooner or later our luck has to change. We had bad luck and it avoided us to achieve good results besides our podium at Imola”, 19 years old driver is very motivated because “I have a good feeling, because our tests there were always good”.

Concerning Team Ghinzani´s schedule for this meeting, “on Friday we have a race simulation during free practice sessions. I hope it goes OK and our experience will be valuable. Our set of fresh tires which we saved during collective testing day will play an important role. Sincerely, I am expecting a free problems Saturday too, and I aspire to fight for pole position”. Regalia told too that “I will be visited by my grandfather who is coming from Argentina. My family there is really important for me and my motivation is the maximum to achieve good results”.

Timetable for this meeting has scheduled two free practice sessions on Friday, both thirty minutes long. On Saturday qualifying session and race one are scheduled at 11.45 and 16.05 respectively.

Race two is on Sunday at 10.10.
