Amazing podium for Regalia on Sunday

Team Ghinzani´s Argentinean driver made a brilliant start from the second row on the grid, overtaking Víctor Guerin to be second at the end of Sunday´s race at Vallelunga.

After his car´s set up´s problems on Friday, Regalia got over to achieve a podium finish during yesterday´s race, when he has finished second on Roman soil.

After his bad start Saturday when he was sixth on the grid but losing four places at the start and shortly after he suffered a collision, Regalia focused on this. And his start in Race 2 was almost perfect.

Team Ghinzani´s driver overtook Víctor Guerin very soon, and he attempted another overtaking maneuver on Brando Maisano –polesitter-.”I noticed how good my start was today when I overtook Guerin. Nearly it worked too with Maisano, but he blocked me. I continue trying during first bends but I didn´t get it. Then, his race pace was a little faster and Maisano went away. I crossed the finish line second, a very good result for me after my podium at Imola. It means my best result in Formula 3 too”, Regalia explained. However, he wasn´t completely satisfied because “my car continues suffering from understeer, and it got worse over time”.

Facu thanks “my grandparent, my father, my uncle and my family, and people who support me from Argentina and Spain”.

A new collective testing on September 21st is scheduled at Mugello, and Mugello hosts the penultimate meeting of 2011 season in October, “it is a fast track where in my opinion we will be competitive”,  concludesRegalia
