‏Glynn Geddie today claimed his British GT championship triumph will take his career to new heights.He teamed up with his dad Jim for the final time this season as the pair became the first father and son team to win the prestigious event.The Geddies finished third in their CRS Racing Ferrari 458 at Silverstone, a result that was enough to help them claim the title.Geddie junior, 21, is now aiming to use his latest success as a launch pad for further success as he now begins to mull over his future."I'm still on a real high after we managed to produce the goods at exactly the right time," said Glynn."Dad drove really, really well and handed the car over to me in a strong position which allowed me to attack the field."In an ideal world we would have loved to have gone out and won our final race of the season but third was enough for us to take it."This victory should now create new opportunities for me in the seasons ahead but I now need to plan carefully for my future."I'm willing to consider any suitable offers but I'd like to think I'll be back in the British GT championship alongside dad as defending champion."Jim paid tribute to his son for his final performance of the British GT season that sealed a memorable win.He added: "I was really happy with the way I drove at Silverstone, it's probably the best I have produced this season."Glynn did what Glynn does best when he got behind the wheel and I am very proud of our achievement."Now we need to consider what we are going to do in the future although we can savour and enjoy this victory."
