Husqvarna at Motorcycle Live

108 Year Tradition with 82 World Championship Titles

No other motorcycle brand in the world can boast a 108 year tradition of motorcycle production, with a prolific racing history, like that of Husqvarna, with the first Husqvarna motorcycles built in 1903.

Today, Husqvarna has a modern range of road and off-road motorcycles with something for every rider, from tarmac lovers, including learner riders, to off-road competitive riders. Motorcycle Live will be the first time in the UK Husqvarna will show their full 2012 motorcycle range.

NEW Husqvarna Street Bikes – Nuda 900 & 900R

On display to the public for the first time in the UK, Husqvarna present the first of a new generation of road motorcycles. These exhilarating new models are the first to combine the history and race pedigree of Husqvarna with the technological innovations and engineering prowess of the BMW Group, coupled with the flair of Italian styling. Developed as a crossover model between a supermoto and a naked bike, the Nuda delivers a sporty, dynamic ride where agility is balanced perfectly with performance, in a bike with a bold and fresh look.

Husqvarna understands that the heart and soul of a motorcycle is its engine. Husqvarna and BMW’s engine development team in Munich decided to use the highly reliable and technologically advanced F 800 R motor in the Nuda 900 and Nuda 900R. Reflecting Husqvarna’s sporting pedigree, this new 900cc configuration not only delivers a more aggressive racing feel and engine sound at maximum performance, it also vastly improves the power and torque characteristics.

The Nuda will arrive in UK dealer showrooms in time for Christmas, with the Nuda 900 retailing at £7,995 and the Nuda 900R at £9,295 on the road.

For those just stepping into the world of two-wheels, Husqvarna has the WRE125, TE125, SMS125 and SMR125cc models. The SMR125 is the perfect learner legal bike, with a smooth four-valve, four-stoke engine, offering riders controllable power, with the ease of electric starting, on a lightweight that has all the looks and style of a bigger bike.

The TE125 is every bit as stylish as Husqvarna’s full-on race machines. Novice riders and experienced commuters alike will enjoy smooth power delivery and excellent fuel economy from this 125cc four stroke. This is also a trail riders’ delight. A genuine dual purpose bike.

World Class Off-Road BikesThe Husqvarna stand will also showcase the latest 2012 enduro and motocross models from this off-road giant.

Husqvarna is currently celebrating its 82nd world title victory, thanks to Antoine Meo who stormed to victory in the E2 World Championship on his Husqvarna TE310 and Juha Salminen who won the E1 World title for Husqvarna on his TE250. The new 2012 TE310 and TE250 will be on display at the show, alongside the rest of the new enduro range, developed with the experience of the Husqvarna CH Racing Monster Energy Team.

Motorcycle Live will also give visitors the chance to check out the Husqvarna 2012 motocross range. See world-class models such as the TC250, which takes its inspiration from experiences gained at the World MX2 Championship, with the collaboration between the factory R&D technicians and the Ricci Racing team.
