Motors TV Weekly Highlights 10th to 16th December

Bercy Electric Kart Masters During the nineties, Bercy's Kart Masters was amongst the highlights of motorsport's end-of-year schedule, attracting the likes of Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher and Alain Prost to do battle around the Parisian venue. In 2011 it is re-born for the 21st century, with electric-powered karts replacing the petrol-glugging machines of old. Multiple Champ Car title-winner Sebastien Bourdais, GP2 champion Romain Grosjean and Le Mans 24 Hours winner Benoit Treluyer top the list of drivers set to compete this year.            - Sunday, 11 December: 7.00pm Live SWATCH Snowmobile  The annual snowmobile championship event hits Austria's Saalbach-Hinterglemm with live coverage on Motors TV. This small ski resort will come alive with the roar of engines as the world’s finest riders take on the twisty street circuit.- Saturday, 10 December: 4.50pm   V8 Supercars The 14th and final double-header round of this year's V8 Supercars championship takes place at rectangular street circuit Homebush. Triple Eight's Jamie Whincup will be seeking his third series title in Sydney following another superb campaign, with only stablemate Craig Lowndes clinging to a slender hope of toppling him in the standings.

- Saturday, 10 December: 6.55pm Macau Grand Prix  Always an unmissable end-of-season contest, this year's Macau Grand Prix has perhaps the strongest grid in its illustrious history. Every 2011 F3 champion makes the trip to the Asian venue, including Euro Series winner Roberto Mehri, British ace Felipe Nasr and German title-winner Richie Stanaway. With a supporting cast that includes GP3 champion and double Zandvoort Masters winner Valtteri Bottas, Euro Series front-runners Marco Wittmann and Daniel Juncadella, GP3 race-winners Alexander Sims and Mitch Evans and F3 returnee Marko Asmer, a uniquely competitive event is guaranteed.

- Saturday, 10 December: 9.00pm  V8 Utes The never-dull Ute series hits Sandown Raceway for the seventh round of its 2011 campaign. Chris Pither heads to the Melbourne venue top of the drivers' standings but will need to be wary of the challenges presented by title rivals Ryal Harris and David Sieders.

- Saturday, 10 December: 6.00pm Australasian Safari  Sticking with the Aussie theme, we've highlights of the 2011 Australasian Safari. This grueling eight day event presents one of the sternest challenges in motorsport as competitors pick their way through the rugged outback terrain.
