(SPEEDWAY 1)WOLVERHAMPTON star Nicolai Klindt has pledged support for the club's two newcomers this season.Lukasz Sowka and Pontus Aspgren have both joined the Monmore side and Klindt - also named as a competitor for the Ben Fund Bonanza at Birmingham on March 11 - says the senior members of the team will help them settle in.Klindt said: "I know the new guys will be a little nervous so it's up to people like me, Freddie (Lindgren), Woffy (Tai Woffinden) and Ty Proctor to help them and get them settled at home for starters."I know what they're going through, they will be nervous about it but we will do all we can to help them. I think the team is looking good."(SPEEDWAY 2)MILDENHALL have named 2011 Rider of the Year Lewis Blackbird as their new captain for the coming National League season.The Fen Tigers have made Blackbird a full asset of the club, and have also confirmed deals for Daniel Halsey, Josh Bates and Aaron Baseby to join the club's asset base, although Baseby could not be fitted into this year's team.Blackbird said: "I felt really honoured when Michael Lee asked me if I wanted the job. We had terrific team spirit here last year and I want to keep that going and help the rest of the boys as much as I can. "On a personal note I want build my average up. I've spent a lot of time with Troy Batchelor over the winter, and I've learnt so much from him on preparation and focusing more on racing.
