Stange Racing Signs Water Geeks for 2012 Star Mazda Season‏

A multiyear sponsorship agreement between Team Stange Racing  and WaterGeeks was announced today at the conclusion of the 2012 International Home & Housewares Show in Chicago.   A full scale open wheel WaterGeeks branded race car debuted alongside WaterGeeks new filtered water bottles throughout the 4-day Housewares Show preceding the announcement today.  The fulltime participation in the 2012 Star Mazda Championship is the first of an expected series of racing programs that will be executed on behalf of WaterGeeks by Team Stange Racing.  Twenty-one-year-old Adam Butler from the UK will drive the WaterGeeks Star Mazda Championship car throughout the 2012 'ROAD TO INDY' tour.

"Our new water bottles are an ideal fit with Star Mazda Championship" said WaterGeeks CEO Brent Meikle.  "They instantly provide fresh filtered drinking water from any global water source.   They are as important to the new generation of global adventurers as the Star Mazda series is to the new generation of drivers and fans. We jumped at the chance to work with Team Stange and to participate in the 2012 Star Mazda Championship series" Meikle concluded.

"I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to compete in the Star Mazda Championship in the Road to Indy tour" driver Adam Butler exclaimed.  Now the work to contend for the Championship can begin."  Team Stange owner John Stange welcomed Adam to the team and said "We believe Adam will contend for the Championship and will make us all proud".
