Motors TV Weekly Highlights 31st March to 6th April

WRC – Rally Portugal With defending two-time winner Sebastien Ogier competing aboard an S2000 Skoda this season, his old sparring partner Sebastien Loeb travels to Rally Portugal as firm favourite for victory. The current world championship leader, who triumphed on the gravel event in 2007 and ‘09, will be the man to beat at round four of this year’s WRC campaign.            - Saturday, 31 March 10.35pm (Day 2)- Sunday, 1 April 10.35pm (Day 3)  LIVE Motors TV Raceday  The hugely popular Motors TV Raceday concept returns for 2012 with five hours of live coverage from Donington Park circuit. Showcasing some of club racing’s finest competitors in a series of made-for-TV sprint contests, the event now enters its third year and promises to produce some unmissable on-track action.-    Saturday, 31 March 1.05pm  LIVE European Le Mans Series The 2012 European Le Mans Series campaign kicks off at French venue Paul Ricard with Motors TV on hand to bring you live coverage. A host of top line drivers that includes Peugeot LMP1 refugees Nicolas Minassian and Stephane Sarrazin will contest this year’s championship, with the premier LMP2 class machinery joined on-track by GT efforts from the likes of Ferrari, Aston Martin and Porsche.

-  Sunday, 1 April from 10.45am & 3.55pm Superstars International Series  The tin-top championship returns for another season of paint-swapping motorsport theatrics. Opening round coverage comes from historic Monza, where series newboys Tonio Liuzzi and Mika Salo will be looking to make strong first impressions.

- Sunday, 1 April 5.15pm (Race 1)- Sunday, 1 April 6.10pm (Race 2)   LIVE FIM X-Trial des Nations The X-Trial des Nations represents the discipline’s world cup, bringing together riders from across the globe to compete for national honour and personal pride. This year’s event comes from French city Nice.

- Saturday, 31 March 8.00pm Grand-Am Road Racing  Round two of this season's Grand-Am championship comes from the stunning Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama. Michael Shank Racing will be keen to follow-up the win they took at the season-opening Daytona 24 Hours, but as ever they'll need to keep an eye out for Grand-Am kings Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas aboard the #1 Ganassi entry.
