Manuel Lopez and Andrea Montermini unveiled their 458 GT2 in the brand new aabar Investments PJS livery at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. The Italian former F1 driver and tester also celebrated twenty years with the Scuderia

 On Sunday, aabar abu dhabi Villorba Corse "Racing with Ferrari" presented its programs for 2012 season at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. The Italian squad aims to a leading role in the International GT Open, the thrilling European GT series by GT Sport starting next weekend at the Algarve circuit of Portimao, in Portugal. Juan Manuel Lopez and Andrea Montermini unveiled the Ferrari 458 GT2 in the brand new aabar Investments PJS livery. The global investment company is an Abu Dhabi brand of excellence and will be the team official partner for the season.

 Team Manager Raimondo Amadio explained the goals planned with Villorba Corse "Racing with Ferrari" international partners, now part of the team: "We look at all latitudes, turning our attention to the growing realities, as the future should be planned in that direction, especially if you want reach the top of highly demanding challenges like the International GT Open we are starting".

 A special award was presented by Ferrari Museum to Andrea Montermini. He was born a few kilometers from the most popular car manufacturer in the world and during the presentation the former F.1 driver and tester celebrated twenty-five years of racing and twenty years of activities with Ferrari: "It is hard to hide the excitement - said the 2008 GT Open and 2010 Italian GT champion -; I received a lot from Ferrari and gave my best. Now I hope to keep doing so: for 2012 we have a top car and a highly professional team and the 458 is very competitive and ready for the challenge. It is up to us to face the different contexts in the most effective way, because the competition is extremely high. Lopez? Better to have him as teammate than as rival. He is a very good driver".

 Back from a successfull 2011 GT Open at the wheel of a Ferrari F430, Argentine Juan Manuel Lopez said: "I am very excited that my first meeting with Italian public and press is taking place in such a popular and unique building. I'm proud to race alongside a driver like Andrea and for a so professional structure. The 458 is fantastic and last week we found a good feeling with the car during our first test in Vallelunga. I am aware that it will be a very tough season, but we are ready to start".
