With four races held so far, four different drivers took wins in the GTS CUP Trophy. The category, running under the GTSPRINT umbrella, has been incredibly exciting so far. A Challenge within a Challenge, the GTS CUP TROPHY is one of the most compelling categories of the championship. The top GT racecars of the international panorama, including famous brands like Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini, are set to continue in their spectacular season start.

In front of a record crowd of more than 31.000 spectators, Colombian Steven Goldstein hit the front with the Mik Corse Lamborghini Gallardo, while Ferrari-powered Gianfranco Bocellari, aboard an extremely powerful, Kessel Racing prepared Ferrari 430, topped Porsche-powered Omar Galbiati (Antonelli Motorsport) and Roberto Silva (Ebimotors).

Different teams, drivers and car brands got their hands on win at Monza, and Imola definitely kept its promises. After suffering from some tough luck in round 1, Lorenzo Casè put everyone else behind with the Scuderia Baldini 27 Network Ferrari 430 (they lined-up alongside Bianchi-Nataloni). Roberto Silva proved a major star in Race 2: thanks to a solid performance, he took a win and went straight to the top of the charts.

Sicilian-based Vittorio Bagnasco also proved highly-competitive too at Santerno as he quickly tamed the difficult Imola racetrack with an Happy Racer-prepared Porsche 997. Bocellari and his team-mate Roberto Delli Guanti are also eager to keep fighting as they lay just 5 points off the championship lead. Their Ferrari will be paired by the other Maranello car of Gian Maria Gabbiani and Gianluca Nattoni. The Lamborghini of Merjech is currently rounding out the top-5. Together with fellow Colombian Goldstein, he has left a strong impression so far.

The next round of GTSPRINT will be crucial as an highly-anticipated event will take place between the ups and downs of Mugello. An exciting weekend is expected, and GTSPRINT is definitely going to answer the bell.
