Pirelli is creating a central focus for its northern European motorsport activities at its state of the art Didcot facility. The Didcot base is already home to Pirelli's worldwide Formula One operation and going forward, all other motorsport championships will also be serviced from there. 

Paul Hembery, Pirelli's motorsport director, said: “This is a really exciting initiative for our motorsport business. This will allow us to offer a really premium service to all of our many motorsport customers, which we feel will far exceed anything our competitors currently offer.”

In harmony with this new initiative, Pirelli is appointing Matthew Corby to head up the activities at the Didcot facility. Matthew, who will bring  to the role many years of motorsport experience, said:  “I am delighted to be taking on this new challenge at such an exciting time for Pirelli in motorsport. I think that the Didcot facility will allow us to continue to grow our business in UK motorsport and improve the already high levels of service that we offer.”
