Round 3: Snetterton, 12 May

The Azteca/Strata 21 Mosler of Paul White, Manuel Cintrano and Javier Morcillo took the top honours in an exciting three-hour race at Snetterton.

Morcillo’s assertive stint in the final hour saw the Mosler close down on Peter Storey’s leading Ferrari 458, in which Simon Phillips had taken the middle stint. The Ferrari eventually cruised to a fourth place finish after a late-race problem but just held on to the Class 2 win over the Owen O’Neill/Neil Huggins Marcos Mantis.

Michael Millard and Ian Heward claimed second overall in their Rapier SR2 prototype, with Nick Jarvis and Tommy Field third after an inspiring performance in the Track Torque Chevron GR8, heading the Class 3 contingent.
